Brendan Phillips
Owner
Born and Raised in Wildwood, NJ, Brendan is an active career Firefighter/EMT with the Wildwood City Fire Department for the past 13 years. Over his career Brendan has obtained many operational/technician level accreditations such as confined space, rope rescue, open water rescue, trench rescue, and structural collapse to name a few. Brendan also holds instructor level certifications in Fire training, Rescue Task Force, Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), and Active Shooter Incident Management.
The concept of MRA began in 2024 at the Wildwood Fishing and Boating Expo in Wildwood, NJ where Brendan created a PowerPoint presentation on traumatic injuries at sea. With the help of co-owner Bobby Fields Jr. MRA was created to promote safety, preparedness and confidence on the water no matter what your skill level.
Captain Jason "Tiny" Walcott

Capt. Jason is a U.S.C.G 500 Ton Master Captain who has been contributing to the sportfishing industry for 36 years. He has travelled the world with some of the top Billfish Tournament Teams and Mothership operations with numerous tournament wins and World Records. He has completed two Trans-Atlantic and two Trans-Pacific crossings including the Panama Canal and Tours in Africa, Asia, Canada, South and Central America. Jason, has experienced numerous unique emergencies at sea as a Captain. He is also the soul survivor of a domestic vessel hijacking which occurred in the Western Bahamas in 1995 which resulted in a U.S. Coast Guard rescue and airlift. His vast knowledge and experience of remote locations and adverse conditions, has helped the MRA team to build a line of equipment and training protocols that can be applied to any emergency at sea. He is currently testing new products for MRA and handles regional sales in Florida, Gulf Coast States, Caribbean and Central America.
